Colorbar Blend Away Foundation Sponge Wheel Review

Colorbar introduced a new beauty tools/accessories range and they look very colorful and attractive. I haven't tried their beauty brushes, but I got my hands on the Colorbar Blend Away Foundation Sponge Wheel. It comes with 8 small sponges and it is used to blend your foundation.

Overall, I think it does its job well and it is a great buy for the price. It blends the foundation well into your skin and doesn't leave any creases. It is also faster to use than using a foundation brush to blend.
What I didn't like about it is that it each sponge is small and it would have worked better if the sponges were bigger. They also released another foundation blending square sponges and they look bigger. Purchase link here

How I use it:
Wet the sponge in warm water and squeeze out the excess water. Apply foundation dots on your face after applying a primer and then use this sponge to blend the foundation into your skin to get a smooth and balanced coverage. Soak the sponge in warm water for 2 minute to remove the foundation after application and store the sponge to re-use it.

Overall, I if you are just venturing into the beauty world and don't want to but the expensive beauty blenders available in the market then try this.

Cleansing using cold cream - Must have for skincare

Our skin is prone to so much dirt and pollution everyday and taking care of your skin is very important. This article is going to talk about benefits/ways to use a cold cream. This beauty product is something which is popular in the beauty world since a very long time. Even with so many products hitting the shelves none of us can deny the advantages of a cold cream.

1. Makeup remover
Apply generous amount of cold cream to your face, concentrate it over your eyelids, lips etc where there is heavy makeup, and let it stay for about 2-5minute and then take a clean cotton swab/tissue paper and wipe it off. All you make up is gone.
Optional - Wash your face later with cold water to remove the rest.

2. Cleanse your face
Massage cold cream onto your clean-face in upward and circular motion every morning for a minute or two and leave it on for 5 minutes. Then wipe the excess using a tissue/cloth, this will help to remove an dirt which is clogging your pores and will ensure that your skin breathes.

3. Soften skin
For some of us the skin on our elbows and knees is usually dark and thick, massage good amount of cold cream onto the problem areas and let it stay over night. The skin will eventually become softer and smoother.

4. Moisturize lips
Apply a small amount of cold cream over your lips, leave on for a minute and rub it off gently with a tissue or cotton and you will feel that your lips are softer. This is a good alternate to Vaseline.

5. For Cracked Feet
If you have dry skin and your feet tend to get dry especially during winters then you can use cold cream. Wash you feet apply good amount of cold cream on your feet focusing on areas which are dry. Wear socks and go to bed, use a good scrub in the morning and you will notice that your feet feel smother when you repeat this for a week.

I have been using Deep Cleansing cold cream by Beauty Face and this works very well to remove my makeup and my skin feels smoother too. This is one product which I has to be there in my bathroom. What is your must-have beauty product?

one 'n only Argan Oil

I have thick curly hair and managing my hair is something which is very very difficult. Until a few years ago my only hair style used to be a pony tail.

Finding products which work for your hair is slightly difficult compared to finding products which work for your skin. Not all products which work for curly hair work for my hair as we have unique hair with its own thickness, dryness, consistency etc.

But overall, Argan oil has magical properties which help in making your hair and skin healthy.
Benefits :

Argan oil is often used as a hair treatment. It is extremely beneficial for hair and scalp, and is commonly used as a conditioner.

Vitamin E is extremely beneficial for hair, and is found in argan oil in high quantities. Vitamin E promotes healthy hair growth as it contains antioxidants, which help boost cells and encourage them to produce healthy hair – it has even been used for hair regrowth.

Argan oil has a number of benefits when used on hair. It can act as a moisturiser for the scalp to fight dandruff and dry scalp. It can also promote the growth of healthy, strong hair as opposed to thin, brittle hair. It can even undo some of the damage done through chemical treatments and dyes, and can be used to treat split ends.

Immediate benefits can also be seen in people who use argan oil on their hair. It is an excellent agent for taming frizz and promoting shine and gloss, as well as softer, more manageable hair.
Argan oil is non-irritating and actually reverses much of the damage done by artificial chemicals and treatments on hair. It is often used in its pure form for healthy, soft and shiny hair. Below are a few of the best ways to use argan oil on hair.

So rest assured if you have dull, damaged, frizzy hair it is more likely that Argan oil products will work for you compared to any other product.

The one 'n only Argan oil has worked wonders for my hair. It helps me,
1. Control frizz
2. My curls are smoother
3. Less hair breakage

It is called an oil but is actually works like a serum and smells really well too, take a small amount (start with a drop)  on your hand and rub it for 20 sec and apply it all over your hair except the roots. Focus on the ends as the ends of your hair are usually more damaged.

Note: If you use more than required product your hair might get oily. You can use this product on wet and dry hair.

I use it on wet hair everytime I wash my hair and when my hair is completely dry after shampoo. I re-apply if required. I am currently, using my third full size bottle and I can't thank my sister enough for recommending this amazing product to me. Elder sisters are a blessing in disguise and you can't ask for more if they share common interests too. My sister is a makeup freak too and has just began her beauty channel on YouTube.

CIBO House

We visited this place on  a lazy Sunday afternoon when we were in the mood of trying some refreshing food at a place we haven't been to before and I must say CIBO House didn't fail to disappoint us.

It is a very small place which doesn't have more than 10 tables, however the ambiance is perfect. We were scared that we wouldn't find a place to sit however, the manager was kind enough to accommodation us.  This place is famous for it's Italian buffet and the waiter straight away asked us if we wanted to have a veg/non-veg buffet. We wondered if there was no A'la Carte but settled in to try out the non-veg buffet.

Usually, buffet leaves me really unsatisfied as I feel like I should taste everything on the spread but I usually don't end up even tasting half the spread and I have also observed that the quality of some of the food is compromised even in the finest restaurants. But for some reason we decided to go against the usual and opted for the buffet.

The soup and starters were served on the table along with unlimited Virgin Mojito which was refreshing considering the summer heat . 1 variety of starters made of prawn, fish, lamb and chicken along with Potato Cheese Poppers were served to us. I was bowled over the quality of the sea-food. The prawn was steam cooked in oregano and chillies and didn't smell even the slightest. The fish was soft and delicate was perfectly cooked too. After the round of starters we were served pasta of our choice made fresh. We were extremely content regarding the quality of the food and more so because we still had enough appetite to try the main course.

There was limited spread in the main course too with a 4 salads, Veg butter rice, Fish Gravy, Veg Lasagne, Sphagetti Noodles served and the desserts section included Panacotta and Tiramisu along with a little more spread. I was not very happy with the Lasagne as it had become very soggy and was not hot. Overall, this is the first place I was content having a buffet and I would definitely recommend that you try out this place.
