Vert Fresh Orange Lip Scrub and DIY Lip Scrubs

Who doesn't like softer and pinker lips? Today's post is going to be all about taking care of your precious little lips.

So recently, I purchased the Vert Fresh Orange Lip Scrub from Fab Bag here. However, a huge disappointment is the delivery, I ordered it on 23/02 while there was a clearance sale going on the Fab Bag website and received the product only on 26/03.

Website Description

Eliminates dry, flaky skin to leave lips wonderfully soft and supple. Feel the citrus fresh orange on you lips. Our best selling Lip Scrub.Net Weight: 10g.

NO Petrochemicals, NO Phthalates, NO propylene Glycol, NO mineral oils, NO silicones, NO sulphates & NO parabens are used in Vert products .

How to use:
Apply to the moist lips as often as required. Scrub gently, wipe it of with moist cotton & follow up with lip balm of your choice.

The product works great on your lips and you can see the difference right from the first use. It is made of completely natural products with no chemicals and the best part is that when you apply it on your lips it tastes like a Orange based cocktail.

Use your finger, take a small amount of product and rub it on your lips in a circular motion. Focus on areas where there is more dead skin.

It has a shelf life of 13 months but you need to use the product within 6 months as the validity of the product reduces once the seal is broken.

If you have dry lips then use a lip scrub regularly (minimum 2-3 times/week).

If you don't have a lip scrub handy then you can easily make one with simple ingredients which are available in your kitchen. Scroll down for DIY Lip Scrub.

DIY Lip Scrub - 1

What you will need
Olive Oil (optional)

Take equal portions of honey and granulated sugar and mix them together and then add about a teaspoon of Vaseline and mix well to form a paste and you are done!

If you want extra nourishment then you can add a few drop of olive oil too.

DIY Lip Scrub - 2

What you will need
Coconut oil
Lemon juice

Lemon helps to brighten the lips and helps in better exfoliation.  Mix all the ingredients to form a paste. If you can get brown sugar then it is suggested to use brown sugar.

Store the lip scrub in your bathroom in a cute looking container and use it anytime you want. If you want to add a little drama then you can add a little food color too.
